From Erice to Macari

Appointment at the departure of the Trapani cable car for Erice. Once at the top, our e-MTBs and guide await us. Around the streets of the medieval village, to continue downhill along the forest roads in the direction of the Monte Cofano reserve. We will pass by the Mangiapane cave, an ancient refuge for shepherds, and continue along the coast, towards the now disused tuna fishery and the wonderful district of Macari. Refreshing bath and lunch in a welcoming restaurant in the village of Macari. It is possible to plan the tour, both with departure in the morning, arriving at lunchtime (about 2/2.30 pm) and in the early afternoon, with a swim at sunset and dinner in Macari. The return to Trapani will take place in an air-conditioned van.

Height difference: 300 mt.
Distance: Approximately 35 km, of which 50% on secondary paved roads.
Difficulty: Average, in the stretch of coast after the Mangiapane cave, for about 300 meters, you can walk with the bike alongside for the less experienced (a stretch that is still easy to cover on foot).
